Jobs for Youth, a community project of the United Way of the Bay Area, contributes to the development of San Francisco's workforce by connecting qualified youth to entry-level jobs in the private sector. Collaborating with public, private, and non-profit sectors, Jobs for Youth promotes the understanding of continually evolving entry-level skill requirements and the readiness of today's youth for the demands of an ever-changing work environment.
Jobs for Youth focuses on understanding the employment needs of San Francisco businesses which benefits community organizations and schools with the expanded connection to business and the exchange of information on hiring trends and future skill set requirements within different industries and sectors. Youth served by organizations working with Jobs for Youth have an increased access to a wide range of job opportunities.
